Retailers with Bridal Boudoir Outfit Collections
Before we get started with individual lingerie styles, I first want to mention the following retailers that have bridal boudoir outfit collections if you want to just get started shopping on your own.
That said, before you just go browse these retailer’s collections and call it a day, I’d like to warn you that my favorite lingerie is often omitted from these collections. Worry not though! To make things easy for you, I’ve included my favorite lingerie pieces that will best enhance your body type later in this post. With that said, the following retailers offer bridal boudoir outfit collections if you’d prefer to just get started with your shopping.
Bridal Boudoir Outfit Ideas Using Veils & Capes
Having your photos done with your wedding veil is one of the easiest ways to style your your session with a bridal vibe.
Even if you’re not planning on wearing a veil for your ceremony, it still might not be a bad idea to pick up a veil for cape for your photoshoot just because of how affordable and versatile they are. Veils are a great accessory to pose with and can make otherwise non-bridal styled lingerie feel right.
Additionally veils can act as a concealment garment if you have upper arm insecurities you want to diminish. If you want nude or implied nude bridal boudoir photos, veils can also be great way to add a layer of elegance and class to otherwise risque photos.
Bridal Boudoir Outfit Ideas Using Garter & Stocking Sets
Garters are another easy way to style your boudoir session with a bridal vibe. Not only that, but the garter is also an excellent place to add your personal stylistic touch to your bridal boudoir photos also.
Garters also offer great posing options as you pull them up or adjust them for your photos. Everyone considering a bridal boudoir session should bring a their wedding garter to their session and also a traditional garter and stocking set also if desired.
Bridal Boudoir Outfit Ideas Using Bra & Panty Sets
A good bra and panty set is the corer stone lingerie of any boudoir photo shoot. To make this a bridal boudoir outfit, most will want options in white, cream or pale blue colors. That said, you also shouldn’t feel like you have to choose traditional bridal colors to the exclusion of everything else either. In fact I suggest you color coordinate your outfits like this for best results.
Additionally you may also want to check out these boudoir lingerie ideas for additional top and bottom options to enhance your body type.
In short, small busted women who need enhancement will benefit from bralettes and push up bras. By contrast, larger busted women who need additional support will see significant enhancement from choosing demi and balconette bra styles.
For bottoms, I suggest plus size women seek out high waist panties to diminish any tummy insecurities. Alternatively, if you have a nice butt and want to show it off for a few shots, you can choose a nice white thong or low cut hipster to enhance your rear.

Bridal Boudoir Outfit Ideas Using Corsets
Corsets are one of the best bridal boudoir outfits for all body types. They are legendary for their ability to enhance a curvy figure by reducing the size of the waist and exaggerating the bust and hips by proxy.
Corsets are great for both plus size body types and lean women alike as they exaggerate and enhance the hour glass shape on all body types.
I highly recommend if you get a corset to consider getting a custom made piece. The quality will be significantly better from a brand like Corset Story or Dark Garden than anything you’ll find from budget lingerie brands.

Bridal Boudoir Ideas Using Teddies and Bodysuits
Teddies are the lingerie equivalent of the one piece bathing suit and generally have a bikini style bottom. Bodysuits can be a similar style to the teddy, but generally come down around hips and stop just below the crotch. That said bodysuits can also include sleeves and leggings too but this is less common.
When deciding on teddies for your bridal boudoir outfits you’ll want to select form fitted teddies and bodysuits that aren’t loose. Looser fits will usually make you look bigger which isn’t ideal.
If you need bust support or enhancement, I recommend choosing the teddy styles with built in support. Some teddies have overbust straps and halters that don’t really support or shape the bust well. This is fine if you don’t need support but it’s definitely something to be aware of if you do.
Bridal Boudoir Outfit Ideas Using Chemises & Babydolls
Chemises historically have been loose fitting sleep wear. When choosing your bridal boudoir outfits though, you’re going to want to find the styles that are form fitted at the waist. Styles that are loose at the waist will obscure your natural hourglass shape and diminish the curves of your body that guys are naturally attracted to.
Babydolls are very similar to chemises except they are designed to be loose at the hips and often flair out as a skirt. This style lingerie helps exaggerate your hip width so long as the lingerie fits at your waist. I find that this style works really well for women that have narrow hips they want to make appear wider. Making your hips appear wider in comparison to your waist will improve your hip to waist ratio. Exaggerating this curve is almost always a good thing as it’s something men are hardwired to be attracted to.
Whatever you choose, both of these options can be perfect lingerie to pair with your wedding garter as it’s easy to find sheer mesh options of both styles.
