Event Photographer Pricing
$300/hr
For candid photojournalistic event coverage, I charge $300/hr with a minimum commitment of 2 hours. This rate is valid for events located within an hour’s drive from Sonoma, California. Events outside this radius incur an additional travel fee of $100 per hour, covering both the journey to and from the venue. Candid Photojournalism Style Photos
At the heart of my service is candid photojournalism. I seize moments as they happen, utilizing natural lighting and environments to create images that tell your event’s story. Regardless of the occasion, be it corporate/social gatherings, surprise proposals, children’s photo sessions, or candid family portraits, my photojournalistic approach can provide you with documentary style photos that capture your event.

- Booking & Payment: To reserve your event date with me, the full coverage amount must be paid upfront. This payment acts as a non-refundable deposit, ensuring that your special day is locked in on my calendar.
- The Photoshoot: Every event is captured personally be me, Jason Guy, and is never outsourced to associate photographers.
- Precision Editing: Each photo undergoes a global editing process, adjusting elements like exposure, black point, highlights, and more to showcase the images at their best.
- Easy Access Online Gallery: Once edited, all images are promptly made available in an online gallery, ready for you and your attendees to view and download.

All About Photo Editing
In order to provide you with the best images possible, all photos from your event will undergo a process known as global editing. This process adjusts elements such as exposure, white balance, and black point, ensuring each image captures the atmosphere perfectly. Please note, these global edits are the standard adjustments made to all the photos that will be delivered to you.
Beyond Standard Edits: Additional Photo Editing Services
While global edits enhance your images considerably, you may want additional pixel-based edits like object removal, blemish removal or teeth whitening. These detailed edits are not included in the standard service but can be arranged for an additional fee.
High Res Files & Print Purchase Options
Should you wish to have high-quality prints made from your event’s images, these can be purchased directly from me, at the published prices posted here. If you prefer to print the photos yourself or need high-resolution files for any other purpose, these files can also be purchased after the event.
